December 12th 2021 marked Mam's 10th anniversary, if you can believe. With all the chaos of another year surrounded by rising covid cases mixed in with the busy Christmas season, the date quickly passed us by, without much recognition or celebration. For anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Maria Ruane, you would know that this does not do the woman's life any kind of justice. So to make up for it, I felt the Vhi Woman's mini marathon was the perfect occasion to fundraise for the brilliant 'Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust' whilst also commemorating the vibrant life of the woman I had the privilege of calling my mother. 

There will be a little team of Mam's family and friends running, walking and jogging on June 5th (my 19th birthday!!), and we would be so grateful for any donation, in aid of BMLT.
