Story

Hi,

I am Magda. I hate running, but I can.

This may seem so normal, obvious, but when you see people who cannot, it makes you think.

I met Hawzhin's and Ahmad's families this year. They are refugees from Iran and Syria. They fled their countries to find a peaceful and safe place to raise their children.

Hawzhin has a severe autism and Ahmad has a brain injury. As they are refugees who still wait for their status, they have no income nor support to attend any activities or events.

Hawzhin and Ahmad do not receive any support or benefits, so their families cannot afford to pay for the activities with Special Stars Foundation.

I decided to raise money for them.

One session is only £5. I need £20 per week to send them for swimming and art each week.

To help them all year round, I need to raise £1000.

As I said, I hate running, but I will run every day until I have all the funds. Soon is my birthday, but I have everything, so please do not buy me chocolates or wine (I don't consume neither of them), and just donate money here.

This will make my birthday very special.
