I am proud to announce my lifetime dream and the biggest challenge yet - trekking Everest Base Camp.

The challenge will begin on 09/11/23 and end 27/11/2023. 

I will be trekking to the foot of the world’s highest mountain – Everest Base Camp (5,357m). Each day will consist of a trek which will last up to 8-10 hours. It is going to be the one of the toughest challenges of my life. 12 days, 130 km, temperatures up to -17'C. I will be reaching heights of 18,221ft . High altitude,  physical demands, unpredictable weather and mental resilience will be tested throughout the trek. This will no doubt be the most mentally and physically draining challenge for me, but guess what? I am determined as ever and excited to complete it!! 

EBC is not a tourist journey and it will requires lots of training, planning ahead, high quality equipment and physical fitness.  Your continued support will be greatly appreciated. 

I am self funding on this trip so that means all the donations go straight to the charity I am raising money for.

Every penny I raised goes to Water for Africa.

Every day, more than 800 children under 5 die from diarrhea caused by contaminated water, poor sanitation, and unsafe hygiene practices. The daily walk for water is robbing women and girls of their futures. And growing droughts around the world are leading to malnutrition and death.

1 of every 10 people on the planet have no access to clean water. That’s 771 million people who lack basic drinking water access, with 122 million people still using surface water as their source. And of the 771 million people who are without access to clean water, 40% live in sub-Saharan Africa which is more than 320 million people. The global water crisis also disproportionately impacts women and girls, who spend an estimated 200 million hours hauling water every day.
