Event: Farnham Rugby Club - Downslink Bike Ride, on 9 May 2010
Participants: Marc, William, James, Sebastian

Story

On Sunday 9th May, Marc, William, James and Sebastian joined the fundraising cycle ride along the Downs Link in aid of the Farnham RUFC new ground appeal, cycling the last section of 18 miles.

Marc was able to manage this even with his dodgy knees, Sebastian cycled over 11 miles on his Unicycle completing the remainder on his bike (due to time constraints) and James and William completed the ride on normal bikes picking up the bits and pieces along the way

Doramy followed in the back up car with spare bike parts and spare knee joints for Marc but was not required to use them.

36 boys from the U13s section and their friends and families took part in the day cycling to the South Coast along the Downs Link disused railway line. We are trying to raise money so that the youth of Farnham can enjoy the spirit of rugby for years to come. Please make a donation to the appeal by following the instructions below.
