As many of you know, I am seriously scared of abseils.  But this is a very worthy cause, and any help is hugely appreciated during these tricky times.

In terms of the charity itself, Harpenden Spotlight on Africa is an active local charity dedicated to making a lasting difference for good to the people of eastern Uganda in an area torn apart by decades of conflict. They have built schools, dug boreholes for clean drinking water, run goat and fish projects for the poorest widows and orphans, train tailors, carpenters and brick makers to generate income, and they plant food gardens. They are run entirely by volunteers and there are no admin costs in UK. All money donated goes directly to projects!
