Hospice Huntsville has become a passion for me. They are providing Free End of Life Care to members of our communities and support to their families. To keep the doors open at Algonquin Grace and continue with their outreach programs they need to fundraise $1,800 per day. Mind boggling so why would I not put my volunteer energy into fundraising and raising awareness for them. We had fun with last year's Create Your Own Hike for Hospice on Harp Lake. We were so appreciative of the support (sponsors) we received and we met a lot of very nice folks around the lake as we hiked together. Some of you know that I am the Purple Boot Granny and I manage this fundraiser for Hospice Huntsville. There are 40 Purple Boots out and about our communities simultaneously with the Hike for Hospice. We look forward to the support you are able to give to Hospice Huntsville again this year and maybe we can even hike together again soon.
