Dear Friends and Family,

Mark wanted to do the Malibu Triathlon this year and I said.....sure but I want to do the Olympic distance. Now we are 3 weeks away and the open water mile swim fills me with fear!

I regretfully admit that these little people have made me too tired to beat Mark this year but I promise to beat him next year! Excuses, I know. I expect next year I still might be tired.

I have chosen two great causes this year

1. Birthlink UK who are supporting my dear friend/colleague (Dr Mambo) set up at neonatal unit in the Congo

2. Paediatric Cancer at CHLA

I hope you can support me to help these kids and their families. Any amount, big or small, will be greatly appreciated!
