Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page created in memory of my dad Alan Green AKA big Al. It was a promise i made to my dad before he passed away that I would run London marathon for Prostate cancer research to raise money and awareness for a disease he fought for almost 5 years. It means the world to me that I get to raise money for a charity so close to my heart and keep the promise I made to my dad. Every penny counts so any money donated small or large would be appreciated more than you'll ever know. 

Whilst fighting the disease my dad went on numerous clinical trials with the aim of prolonging his life. Thankfully I was lucky enough he got to see me get married to my beautiful wife Marie and spend more time with our four children due to his determination to fight with everything he had until the end. 

Prostate cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in men. Over 11,000 men die every year in the UK and the number increases every year. The Mission of PCRC is to develop new therapy for men with advanced prostate cancer. The immediate goal is to increase survival and their vision is a cure for the disease. Every pound raised will help PCRC achieve their vision.

Just want to say a massive thank you to anyone who helps me raise money to help with the fight against prostate cancer 👍
