Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  Back in 1959 my dad, at the young age of 28, was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and needed lifesaving ileostomy surgery.  After recovering from this pioneering surgery, he volunteered with the IA and helped others who faced the same lifechanging surgery.  It was a condition that he lived with for almost 60 years until his death in 2018.  This one's for you Dad!
