Story
Last year my son (Archie) was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, resulting in him having "moderate to severe" learning difficulties. Hearing a doctor say those words was one of the biggest shocks I've ever experienced and left my wife and I wondering what the hell we were going to do next, but after a lot of fantastic support from the NHS and various support groups we can see some light at the end of a very long tunnel.
One of those support groups is School For Parents which specialises in empowering parents to help children with special needs like Archie.
So as a small way of helping this amazing charity Steve and I have decided to sign up to the Robin Hood half marathon on the 24th September.
