Macmillan is the chosen charity partner of Leaders and as part of the fundraising efforts during 2014 the marketing team will be running the equivalent of 1000 miles between us within 6 months (1st July - 31st December 2014).

This distance is the equivalent of over 38 marathons and will cover the distance across all of the 18 counties where Leaders have a branch.

Each of the team will be tracking their millage through an official GPS tool and we will be keeping a tally of our distance covered each week. The distance would cover a route from Brighton, where Leaders first started over 30 years ago to the furthest West of our branches in Cheltenham, north to Liverpool and Manchester, East to Norwich, Lowestoft and Cambridge and then down through the Home Counties into London and finally finishing at our Head Office in Worthing.

Whilst we won’t actually be running from branch to branch, as a team we will cover the equivalent distance of 20 branch locations across the UK.

We all believe in this deserving charity and will be completing the entirety of this challenge outside, through the blistering heat of the summer, the wet and wild autumn and the freezing winter months. So please show us your support by donating (no matter how small) to help us reach our target.
