We provide palliative and end of life care to families facing terminal illness

Story

This year I've decided to run the Robin Hood Half Marathon to support the Nottinghamshire Hospice.

Nottinghamshire Hospice provides care and support for those with terminal illness, both at their day centre and through a network of professional carers and nursing staff who provide around the clock nursing for those in the Nottinghamshire area.

This is an invaluable service for many who care for their loved ones 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

My sister is a nurse at the Hospice and I know only too well that without it, many people caring for their loved ones would be at a loss without the support provided.

It's a fantastic charity, a noble cause and one that I feel proud to support.

I have set a target of £500 but would really like to beat this target, so please give generously and all donations, no matter how small, will be very gratefully received.

Many thanks for your support.
