Two years older than last time, a pensioner with 2 lovely new grand daughters you think I would know better but I am now well into the training for my third 20 mile Pink Ribbon walk in aid of breast cancer and my aging feet are definitely protesting but with less than 2 weeks to go I am determined they are going to make it to the finishing line at Blenheim Palace on May 22nd!

The training seems to have been harder this year and time management a positive challenge... how to fit it in to our busy schedule of lunches, holidays, weekends away, babysitting etc etc??  Still as the saying goes - when the going gets tough, the tough get going!

 

Also I have recently heard of yet another friend who is battling this awful illness with courage and determination and I am sure thinking of her on the day will spur me on and make the blood, sweat and tears all worthwhile!!
