Story

Hi,

Starting on the 31st of May until the 5th of June I will be running the Trans Aq‘ (www.transaq.fr) in France. It is probably the most famous multi-stage race in France and it stretches for approximately 220Km in the Aquitaine region along the Atlantic coast. The race has 6 stages (between 25Km and 60Km) one of which is a night stage.

If for any reason you don’t know what to do at work or at home and you’d like to know how I am doing in my racing adventure then click on the following link: http://chrono.geofp.com/transaq2010/. Click on my name on the left hand side (my race number is 48) and you’ll be able to see where I am in real time. All the runners are equipped with a GPS tracking system.

It is the most important event of the year for me and I have been training 6 months for it. Unfortunately I got slightly injured a month ago and I am not sure if I will manage to finish amongst the first 50 runners (which was my previous target). Considering the degree of my injury I’d more than happy to finish the event at all.

I am raising funds for the Royal London Society for the Blind (RLSB) and I’d like to encourage you to donate as much as you can. I have set a target of 300£  but I really hope you’ll be able to donate more than that. Please help me in supporting the great job that the RLSB is doing.

Thanks,

Massimo
