Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Every kid should have a hero, I was lucky enough to have one in my family. My cousin Chris. 10 years older than me and most of the things I wasn't growing up, and quite a few I'm still not. Funny, athletic, strong, good looking, popular. He had massive charisma and managed to balance being truly humble with a streak of cocky charm. He was always an example to me. Tragically Chris lost a battle with cancer and he fought it all the way. He leaves a legacy in the hearts and minds of everyone he met, that was the strength of his spirit and joy for life. I'll miss you Chris but never forget you.
In honour of Chris I'll be doing a challenge across the whole of October.
Basically, Monday to Saturday i'll be doing a "heavy" squat session so that will be 27 sessions. The primary goal is to complete it, the secondary goal will be to set a new personal record.
I did the same challenge in 2017 and added 7.5kgs to my PB and the total volume I lifted was over 44,000kgs. This year I aim to smash both of those targets.
Any donation will be gratefully received, alternatively if this inspires you to challenge yourself in some way but you don't donate that's fine.
You can do the same workouts by following @penandpaperstrengthapp on Instagram.
