In April 2014 I'm going to be competing in the Greater Manchester Marathon in what will be my first full marathon attempt on behalf of Nurture A Child, which is a project supported by The Smile Foundation.

Nurture A Child is a charity which works to improve the opportunities, aspirations and therefore the life chances of underprivileged teenagers and vulnerable younger adults by identifying and securing appropriate mentoring, work experience opportunities, training programmes and sponsorship for participation in sport, the arts and education.

I've been running, biking, swimming & 'gymming' for over 6 months to try and complete the Marathon.
