We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Hi,

Last year Matt ran the Great South Run to raise money for the Alzheimers Society. This year he has convinced both Greg and Andy to run with him.

Matt and Andy are cousins and both, 11 years ago lost  their Granny to dementia. Growing up they remember a wonderful, energetic, happy and intelligent person who always had a smile and lived for her family. She was a keen tennis fan and like nothing more than watching all of wimbeldon when she was older. in her younger days she played tennis regularly.

Greg on the otherhand is now the wrong side of fifty and sees raising money for the Alzheimer's Society as an investment in the future.

So we would really appreciate if you would kindly donate some money to help research into this disease and hopefully a cure can be found and the wonderful specialist care given to suffers can continue. We promise to do our bit and finish the race without stopping or walking.

If you would prefer to donate to us directly you can, you will have our details already if you have recived a link to this from one of us. We will then donate through the site for you so that we can get the extra 25% gift aid.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Alzheimer's Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

You probably know one of us hence you recieving the request for a donation, as for the other two runners check out the profiles below!
