Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

I am doing the End to End virtual Lands End to John o'Groats walk/run which is a total of 874 miles over the course of the year.  

This is all done by extra walks and runs throughout the year, recorded on Strava and then uploaded to the End to End website which verifies the data and move your virtual peg along the map. 

2020 was a challenging year for us all and with the working from home and lockdowns I have become pretty unfit.  As such I have decided to take up the challenge to walk the length of the UK. 

I was originally going to look for sponsorship later one (say 500 miles in) once I knew that I was doing OK, had some miles under my belt and was too far in to quit, however as we all know Charities have been hit hard from the pandemic so I decided it would be better to try and get the money too them sooner rather than wait until later in the year so have set the page up almost from the start (I am about 45 miles in).

This is a massive challenge for me and requires a daily commitment to get out walking/running.  I have always found it hard to make time for exercise with three young kids (including one that is still not sleeping through!).

Any donation you are able to give I am sure will go a long way for the great Sheffield charity supporting the homeless and vulnerable people in the area.
