Pupils at The Belham Primary School are doing a lockdown challenge to run or walk 28 miles in 28 days. Please help sponsor them & raise funds for the Friends of Belham charity, which supports educational and extra-curricula activities at the school.

Story

The Covid crisis has been a huge challenge for everyone. Schools, including the teaching community, pupils and their parents have been severely impacted by the strict Lockdowns and school closures. As the winter of 2021 drags on in front of us, we need to get outside, get off the screens and get more fresh air and exercise! During February, I am planning to run, walk (or walk-run) 28 miles in 28 days - ideally a mile a day. I will track my miles every day. If I have to self-isolate, I will exercise in the house or garden. Can you sponsor me for my "Challenge 28"? All funds raised go to the Friends of Belham - a charity run by parents and guardians at my school, aiming to support educational enhancement. These additional funds are vital right now during this crisis - last month the charity was able to donate £2400 raised from activities last year, to support home-learning.
