Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are cycling 350+ miles from the HSBC HQ in London, through the UK, France and Belgium all the way to Amsterdam.
This demanding journey which climbs 6042ft (1844m) will not be an easy one with 4 consecutive days of cycling putting our psychical, mental and emotional strength to the test.
This endeavour is for a worthy cause as Guide Dogs for the Blind do amazing work and provide a unique combination of practical and emotional support to transform the lives of people who are blind or partially sighted offering them independence, inclusion and freedom. Every hour, another person in the UK goes blind, proving just how important this charity is so please dig deep and donate!
You can also donate via phone by texting GDOG85 followed by the amount you are willing to sponsor to 70070.
Please remember that this is a charity cycle ride organised by a committee dedicated to raising funds and awareness for Guide Dogs for the Blind (or whichever worthy cause you have chosen).
This said, please can we remind you to set up your JustGiving pages using their website: http://www.justgiving.com/
We are looking to raise as much money as possible and every little helps. Remember, through the HSBC £4£ scheme we can double every pound we earn (up to £500) and through JustGiving the government will match 5% of all donations.
So for every £1 earned £2.10 will find its way to your worthy charity
In addition to our personal pages we have also set up a group donation page. This means, anyone you know who who may want to donate to more than one person (say you and your friend who are both going) no longer needs to decide which person they choose to sponsor - they simply donate to the group page! Details of which are below.

Further to this, we have set up a team page which we would like everybody to join. Please link your fundraising page to the L2A group page, regardless of which worthy cause you are raising money for, so we can see how much we collectively raise between us:

We are hoping for senior executives and Guide Dog trainers (with their dogs!) to be at the launch of the event. We have ordered your special cycling Guide Dog tops and want to capture the launch of the event for HSBCTV.
