The end of 2021 was probably the worst time of my life.
Back in July I was diagnosed with non epileptic seizures. I went through many tests including a heart trace and many different blood tests and scans. In the end they decided that it was to do with stress and there wasn’t anything they could do to solve it straight away.
Unfortunately at the end of November my legs started to not work properly. This is a symptom of FND (Functional Neurological Disorder) which my non epileptic seizures come under.
The first video is when it first happened, the second is just before Christmas. I can see a massive difference already however I am pushing myself to get back to walking normally.

I am setting myself a challenge, I want to be able to walk up Pen Y Fan by the end of the summer.
I know people walk up Pen Y Fan everyday for fun however when you can’t walk up the stairs without having a seizure, walking up pen y fan is a very big challenge!
I am going to set up a just giving page to raise money and awareness for FND, I really hope this will raise awareness as I had never heard of it until I was diagnosed. Any donation will help!
