About us: (für die deutsche Übersetzung klick auf "read more") As some of you will know, in 2007 Mél was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. She has undergone an operation, gone through chemo & radiation-therapy and now, until 2013 is on hormone therapy treatment.

In February 2012 we will be joining 80 brave (& slightly crazy) women on a "small bike ride" (400km in 5 riding days) across Kenya. We have to raise a minimum of 2,800 pounds each (an amount of this goes towards the challenge and event costs). Therefore we aim to raise at least 6,500 pounds to make this task worthwhile.

Our main reasons for taking part on this challenge, is to celebrate Mél's road to recovery and raise money to help women suffering from cancer.

As well as this site, we will be doing many fundraising events: Music events (i.e."In The Pink", 20th Nov 2010 @ City Screen, York), etc. We will keep you posted....
