This October I will hiking over 100km on a 7-day journey through the lake district to raise money for the Beaver Trust and to share with you the magnificence of our countryside and wildlife that we have here in the UK.

The Beaver Trust, is a charity which has become very close to my heart since making my Film 'Nature's Engineers' with the Cornwall Beaver Project last year.

They have been instrumental in successfully re-introducing the Eurasian Beaver back to our land after hundreds of years of extinction.

The end of summer doesn’t spell the end of outdoor adventures - The autumn colours and winter frosts are just as beautiful as a hot summer’s day!

I will be sharing daily updates and videos on social media, to remind you what beauty of nature is right on your doorstep, whatever the season, while raising funds to help save our natural world.

I want to inspire you to get outside where you live and experience
what our countryside has to offer and to help our wildlife thrive like it once did. There has never been a more important time to support this vital conservation work to make sure that our wildlife is protected.
