Our daughter, Brooke Grove is 5 years old and suffers from Sydenhams Chorea. She has recently suffered a relapse of the condition, which is common in sydenhams patients, and so we will be climbing Mount Snowdon this summer to raise money and awareness for this rare condition, donating funds to the Sydenhams Chorea Association.

Sydenham's chorea is a disease affecting the brain, which occurs due to a problem with the body's immune response to an infection caused by streptococcus bacterium. The infection affects the part of the brain which controls movement and emotional response.

Graham, myself and close friends/family will be walking the mountain 27th June 2015.

Please support us in this challenge and help us raise awareness of this condition.

Thank you for your donation !!!!!!

Melanie and Graham.
