Chanukkah and Christmas is that time of year when we particularly think about others less fortunate than ourselves. Although we typically think of Israel as being a hot country, the winters can be very cold, snowy and harsh for those who are living on the streets.

Christ Church, in Jerusalem, has a support network for those who are the poorest in Jerusalem, and who need extra clothing or warm food. This is why we would like to focus our giving during Chanukkah to raise money for the Mercy Fund.
