Welcome to my Leukaemia CARE fundraising page!

I just moved to the UK and am starting my Master's in African Studies and I am also starting to train and fundraise for the 2015 London Marathon.  I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate this new chapter of my life than by fundraising for an incredible non-profit organization, Leukaemia CARE. Leukaemia CARE provides invaluable support to those affected by blood cancer.  

Most of you have probably known someone who was affected by blood cancer. 30,000 people are diagnosed with blood cancer every year in the UK alone. I will be running in memory of Eunice Allen, a wonderful family friend who passed away a few years ago with chronic Lymphoma Leukemia.

I am also running in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on the team, and we need your suport to cross the ultimate finish line- a cure!
