Mia, Sam and Emma only started jumping 18 months ago but were determined to progress to cross country this year. We had our sights set on the Lions Sponsored Ride in September and made it our goal. Together we trained hard at various yards including Lee Valley in Hackney, Gillian's in Enfield, and Wayside Stables near Windsor, who are kindly loaning us our steeds for the day. Along the way we have gathered some more keen beans - Ophelia, Janet and John, who are a little more experienced with horses and a much-needed source of enthusiasm, wisdom and encouragement - and now we have a super group led by our wonderful instructor Carly. We cannot wait to participate in this exciting event!

The event takes place in the Queen's back yard, Royal Windsor Park (thank you for the permission, Ma'am!) and raises money for fantastic charities such as the RDA (Riding for the Disabled) and Remus Horse Sanctuary. Please help us raise money for these causes.
