Thanks for visiting my page, and for your noble intention to back Oxfam by sponsoring me for this ride on August 2nd.

I am happier than usual to support Oxfam because it has bravely taken up the issue of inequality, and to great effect. It is such a key issue, and there is need for a credible, internationalist, development voice in the debate.

And happy, too, to be doing it by riding my bike for 100 miles, which, weather permitting, will be an unalloyed pleasure (apart from the Surrey hills, perhaps). 

I know some of you have already made a huge contribution to Oxfam as staff, past or present, and I hope you don't mind me asking for a teeny bit more.
