On September 12th 2021 I will be taking part in the Great North Run for the 5th time and this time I am running for Friends of Gibside School (FOGS). This is made up of staff, parents, relatives of pupils and members of the community who raise funds to support children with special needs to enhance their school experience. Funds go towards sensory items for the kids or bigger things like minibuses.

My son, Will, attends Gibside School, and the staff there all do a fantastic job with the resources they have. FOGS work throughout the year to make sure the children attending Gibside school have the resources they need . As you can appreciate these resources are not cheap and due to the variety of needs a wide range of items are needed.
