Hi all,

Next June (2011) I will be climbing 6000m to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. There is a group of us doing the climb, and my aim is to raise a total of £3500 for Marie Curie. This is a charity which is very close to my heart - my father died of Thyroid Cancer 10 years ago and this is the first opportunity I've had to raise a significant amount for a charity that does a huge amount of good work.

I would be massively grateful if you would donate towards the climb. As an example of where your money would go, just £20 helps provide one weeks care to a family through Marie Curie.

I promise to give blood, sweat and tears to the cause, and that's just in the training in the lead up to the climb! I'll be keeping this page updated as I continue my training and build up to the big event.
