Story

Every year, Liverpool Hope send students to various parts of the world to make a difference.

In August 2020, I will be travelling to Anuradhapura Sri Lanka to help in the children's SOS village. Here, children who have been neglected, abandoned or forgotten about, are taken in by specially trained mothers to build them a family with a hope of gaining a better life in the future.

During my 3 week stay, I will be teaching, creating activities and making memories for the many children involved in this incredible project.

In order for me to take part in this wonderful opportunity, I am needing to fundraise £1500. Any donations made through this page is greatly appreciated and thank you for helping me through this journey.

About the charity

Global Hope is the term used for Liverpool Hope University's educational programmes and exchanges that enable students and staff to share skills and knowledge with partner institutions in developing countries. Staff and Students involved in the programmes are expected to fundraise to enable their participation and the provision of resources.
