I am running my first half marathon which is a personal goal that I have set myself before my 40th birthday. My brother Paul and his partner Sarah are also taking part and we are hoping to raise funds for the Clare Daly Foundation to raise awareness in the fight against melanoma. 

Clare was a family friend who was much loved to everybody that knew her, and she sadly passed away in December 2015 aged just 29, after a short battle with melanoma. The Clare Daly Foundation has since been set up in her memory to raise awareness and support families and other sufferers with the fight against melanoma.
