As you may know, I’ve been involved with the Guide Dogs charity for some time now by boarding their dogs in early training.  It has been great fun for me, I’ve learnt so much and I’ve become so much more aware of the great work that they do.  So much time and money is required to support each dog - it’s estimated £56,000 is required for the training of a fully qualified Guide Dog!

I’m always up for a challenge and felt that raising funds for this chosen charity would be so worthwhile.  Therefore, I’ve set myself the challenge to raise funds to Name A Puppy! I’m currently torn between a couple of names but the important thing is raising the money: £2500.00. To do this I am aiming to run a full marathon in May 2019... Exact details are to be confirmed but training has already started and I’m signed up to the  Birmingham Half Marathon as a good progress point!  I’m also looking for other fundraising opportunities so any ideas or support from individuals and businesses would be fantastic please!

The money raised will specifically go to the Guide Dogs Birmingham Mobility Team, which is the one most local to myself and where all my Guide Dogs have been training. All donations will go directly towards to the charity.
