Two years ago my wife Karen (Dan's mum) was rushed into hospital with a heart condition. Since then the British Heart Foundation has supported and provided funding for many tests, including genetic testing for the wider family. We're very pleased to say that, as a result of her treatment, Karen's condition is under control and she's doing great!

Heart and circulatory disease is the most common cause of death in the UK, and every 6 minutes someone dies from a heart attack. Women are over 3 times more likely to die of heart disease than of breast cancer.

Every year the British Heart Foundation saves thousands of lives thanks to their ground-breaking research and innovative health initiatives. But to do this they really do rely on the generosity of people like you to help them continue their vital work.
