Story
I completed the long and arduous trek in the Himalayas. This was trekking on a grand scale, made harder by illness and Altitude issues. Temperatures on the trip varied from +25°C to -20°C. We ascended the summits of Gokyo Ri (17,550 ft) and Kala Patar (18,448 ft), crossed the 17,783 ft pass of Cho La (The hardest part of the trip) and treked to Base Camp Everest.
I am raising funds for "Help for Heroes", a charity doing fantastic work for members of our armed forces injured in recent conflicts. The fantastic response so far is very much appreciated, and there is still time to contribute if you can. Many, many thanks to all of you for your generosity.
