Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well what has Anthony Nolan Trust done for me.......well quite alot really......in 2006 i was diagnosed with Follicular Lymphomer and given somewhere between 2-12months to live.......roll on intense Chemo and other treatments... then they said i was ready for the the biggy.......a Doner matched bone marrow transplant.....

Well, those who know me i don't do things easy so when i was tested i found out i was quite unusual....(no comments please)!! and any likey match would be east european.

so step up the trust and soon found i was unique in both uk and usa and no matches but still they didn't give up and soon found me a match in Germany........(haven't i always said what nice people they are!) well a very nice man was a match to me and 1 bone marrow transplant 3 "topups" later and a few close call we get to today (ok some large points missed out to stop you getting board and making this an essay!)

so now i feel i want to give something back.......so why this!
well after doing not a lot for a long time i was feeling a little unfit (again no comments!!) so took up running with a few friends at lunchtime.......well now its not only a habit but a really enjoyable one (most of the time) and somehow......(its all a blurr now!!) all 4 of us have managed to get ourselves signed up to do a half marathon on the 21st November

its a first for all of us and all money will be going to a VERY good cause so please give as much as you can.........and massages after would also help!!
