Hi All.

Well I did it and managed to get up to Gilman's point  at the top of Mt Kilimanjaro at5685 m above see level. It was a fantastic experience with a great bunch of people, but quite simply the hardest physical and mental challenge I have ever done. Definitely not for the faint-hearted. I also have the hugest admiration for the local guides and porters who did a phenomenal job. Particularly thanks to Brown, without whom I would not have got up or down the highest mountain in Africa.
