Molly's Molly-Anne & Friends (Environmental Aid at UTEA)

Molly-Anne & Friends (Environmental Aid at UTEA) · 13 July 2019
Join Molly-Anne and friends in an intimate, acoustic night of music in aid of TreeSisters: women seeding change.
Treesisters are a charity designed to empower women from the developing world through the reforestation of our precious, tropical rainforests.
Molly-Anne is a young and upcoming ‘Conscious Country’ musician, multi-instrumentalist and award-winning songwriter from local Gloucestershire, UK, bringing a quaint British charm to the Americana genre.
With a soulful, Country inspired-sound fused with elements of indie and folk, Molly accompanies her soft vocals on the harmonica and acoustic guitar.
Writing poetic, upbeat songs and enjoying a joyfully sweet but unabashed live presence, Molly-Anne shines a new perspective on Country music, bringing the genre new ideas about consciousness, spirituality, humanity, beauty, nature and peace. A passionate vegan and environmentalist, Molly hopes to spread love, unity and connection through her songwriting and enjoys a joyful live presence.
Molly-Anne enjoyed sell-out headline shows in her local county on her Sunshine 2018 summer tour and has recently supported folk heroes Noble Jacks, Cara Dillon, Ninebarrow and Alden, Patterson & Dashwood on their UK tours. Making some noise in her genre, Molly’s original perspective on Country music has attracted some attention and landed her slots at C2C Festival and Buckles & Boots in the summer with her band plus a co-headline tour in March with UK Country artist Danny McMahon.
Supported live by the energetic ‘band of Andy’s’ (Andy Guy on Double Bass & BVs, Andy Chinner on Cahon) plus the occasional appearance from folk fiddler Jules Miller, the band are storming through the British country and folk scene.
Support confirmed; Exiled (acoustic set) and Kelsey Bovey!
Expect an evening of soft, summery music, intimacy and a whole load of good vibes.
