I have dreamt of climbing Everest since I was a child. 

In 2015 my dream almost became reality but the devastating earthquake in Kathmandu and subsequent avalanches on Everest meant that my trip had to be abandoned at 6500m

Two years on and I'm preparing to go again. My training is going well and you can follow my progress via my blog here

This time around I'm raising money for Monarch Foundation charity partner Just a Drop.  Just a Drop are an international water aid charity who provide clean, safe water to some of the poorest communities in over 30 countries worldwide. 

With 768 million people in the world not having access to clean, safe water and around 2.5 million not being able to access adequate sanitation, the work of Just a Drop really touches a chord with me. Tragically, every 20 seconds a child dies from a water related disease.
