The Manchester based mental health charity, Moodswings, are encouraging workers and students to take their teddy to work in a bid to raise awareness of the positive benefits of being in work.
The stigma of both studying and work being stressful can be a daunting place for someone who suffers with their mental health and so Moodswings are passionate about launching this campaign to show the positive benefits of being in work and how you can cope with the pressures of work/study life.
During the week of 8th - 12th October, Moodswings are asking you to join in by posting pictures on social media of what your teddy gets up to in work to show your support of making work bearable
Linda Wilson, General Manager/CEO of Moodswings says, "We really want to show people who may be suffering, that being in work and having a routine has a number of positive benefits. We also want to show the socialable side of working and studying - by turning up everyday you have the opportunity to build relationships with new friends who will contribute to having a positive impact on your mental well being."
To be a part of the campaign and help Moodswings raise awareness about mental health by showing the positive benefits of being in work or studying, then all you need to do is take your teddy with you to work/school for the week of the 8th - 12th October and post pictures on social media using the tags #makeworkbearable and #moodswings.
