Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read this.

The Dander for Mary involves walking around 72 miles over 4 days which is no mean feet (no pun intended!) especially as I don't normally walk to the end of my street or partake in the old exercise lark on a daily basis!

So why may you ask do I want to do this - to which there are a number of reasons;

1) The Mary Leishman Foundation is such a worthwhile cause and it's aim is to ease distress and encourage potential and gives funds back to the local area and local causes an throughout Scotland.

2) For my dad who passed away 18 years ago of cancer and who I miss every day. He was a lifelong Pars fan who used to take me along to the games rain or shine when I was wee.  He thought alot of Big Jim and I know he would be very proud of me doing this. 

3) For the sense of achievement in walking 18 miles a day and giving me the chance to help local causes and also encourage me to get off my backside and get fit!
