Final training update
Tapering now , completed a 12 miler 3 weeks ago - 1hr 45
8miles last week , with a final 5 miler today........
Original goal of sub 2hr , very achievable - any thing under 1hr55 will be very happy
PB 1.51 set in 2002
Course Record - RoyalParks for Mr Nuts 2.31 (argghhh , no training ) - me think thats will be shattered in 7 days time

Training Update No2 - 4 weeks to go - increasing longer runs now......
Completed 11min run last Sunday 12th in 1hr 36
total road running now 68.7 miles , in 10:08 mins
Training update - now into week 5 of training , have run 42.47 miles on road in total time 6hrs18mins - currently roadrunning twice a week ,
complete 1 non running session a week ( currently swimming ) and have also completing tempo and speed sessions , once a week in the gym.........
Dunsford Park 10k was run on the 22nd Aug in 54mins
Next race is the half marathon.....
Stepping up the long runs as I hit September
Aiming for between 1hr55-2hrs come Oct 10th.........
I have dusted of my running trainers and have decided to train properly for the Royal Parks 2010 Half Marathon , having failed miserably on my previous 2 attempts in 2008 & 2009 , I have also entered the ballot for London 2011 , hopefully I'll get in and will run for Marie Curie who do a fanastic job in helping cancer patients and their families
