Story
The Chess Valley Challenge is on our mother's birthday, when she would have been 101; what better way to celebrate our memories of her? And help in a cause that she would have thoroughly approved of. See below for what the Trust do.
A recent example of the work of Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust is the acquisition of the Beane meads in Hertford, preserving one of our Fingers of Green.
Working throughout Herts and Middlesex we take practical action every day to protect wildlife and to connect people with nature. With the support of people like you, over 40 nature reserves from woodlands to globally rare chalk streams are cared for - all to benefit wildlife and our local communities. We believe everyone has the right to benefit from access to nature. With free access to our nature reserves and many events every year, we provide the opportunity for people of all backgrounds to learn about and get closer to the wildlife on their doorsteps. Our work is only possible thanks to the support of amazing people like you. Thank you .
