This year I will be running the London Marathon in aid of WellChild. They are a charity in the UK who help sick children and their families manage through serious illness.

I'd always thought of the Marathon as something any relatively fit person could do. Until now. With 8 weeks to go until the day, the thought of running 26 miles is daunting to say the least. Its a massive challenge, and one I think is deserving of all the money it raises for charity.

I have donned a pair of running shoes and taken to the streets of London. So hopefully, come the day, I will be up to the task. Two half marathons await in March to test the progress before the big event.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look at what I'm doing. I think WellChild is a very worthy charity. Please donate whatever you can, no amount is too small. Although the bigger the better obviously!!
