Story

Dear Friends, Family and anyone kind enough to sponsor us. Dave Campbell and Lynsey O’Neil of Network Rail’s National Delivery Service are once again set to endure mega pain all in the good cause of charity.

This time we are running on behalf of the Great North Air Ambulance Service. (http://www.greatnorthairambulance.co.uk/).

Why I hear you ask? Well, last June a small group of us partaking in a Lands End to John O’Groats (LEJOG) Charity Cycle Challenge unfortunately witnessed first hand the Air Ambulance in action. Their professionalism and duty of care shown to our injured colleague left us with a lasting impression such that we now want to support them and the sterling work they do.

Two heads are better than one hence Dave is doing the London Marathon on 25th April whilst Lynsey will undertake the Blackpool Marathon a couple of weeks earlier on the 11th April. Both have now started their punishing training schedules and in fairness it is the hardest bit that no one actually sees

We were really appreciative for the support and generosity shown by everyone last year to those partaking in the LEJOG Charity Cycle Challenge.

We can only ask that like us you can see the merits and value the Great North Air Ambulance brings to individuals and their families in their greatest hour of need. Please support us by donating and leaving some words of inspiration – No doubt after some 20 miles of running we will both need them.

Thanks everyone.

Dave and Lynsey
