Story
On Saturday 16th September 2017, Ahmed Jabbar, Haider Twaij and Imtiaz Hasham will attempt to swim 4,000 metres (4km) Non-Stop to raise money to help impoverished orphans in Iraq through the Noor Orphans Fund.
Iraq has been through 2 wars, a barbaric dictatorship rule for 30 years and more recently 14 years of terrorism an internal conflict which has left millions of innocent children without one or both parents. Many of these orphans are severely impoverished and living in very poor conditions. The Noor Orphans Fund has helped thousands of impoverished Iraqi Orphans for the last 16 years and continues to help more and more each year.
We kindly ask for your support with this cause by generously donating whatever you can to help these orphans and help improve their lives and put a smile back on their face and give them hope. We also kindly ask you to kindly share this link with all your family, friends and contacts. We aim to raise £35,000 which will help hundreds of orphans and their families in improving the quality of their lives, providing them with basic food and clothing and support for their education to give them a chance for a future.
NOTE: If you are a UK taxpayer then please tick the Gift Aid box when making your donation. This means we will be able to collect an additional 25p for every £1 that you donate. Make your gift even more generous, at no cost to your self.
