Story

Sadly on November 4th of 2014 a former member of the Leeds Carnegie American football team and brother to a current member of the MMU American football team passed away. In order to raise money for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) , both these teams are holding an American football match in order to raise awareness of the growing risk of cardiac arrest in young people and to raise some money to donate to CRY to help them continue the work they do.

The game is being held on Sunday 5th April at;

Burnage RFC
Varley Park,
Battersea Road,
Heaton Mersey,
Stockport,
SK4 3EA
0161 432 2150

There will be a 3 pound entrance fee which is a willing donation to the charity and cakes and raffle tickets will both be on sale with all profits again going to charity.

After the game a celebration is being held at;

Koh Tao bar
310 Wilmslow Road,
Manchester,
Fallowfield
M14 6XQ

Everyone is welcome down to show there support even if they are unable to make the game, 10% of the bar take will also be being donated to CRY.
