Naomi's Clive’s head shave @ the majors

Naomi Burke is raising money for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity (Wales)

Clive’s head shave @ the majors · 25 September 2021

Creating brighter todays and better tomorrows for the children of Wales. Our mission is to support the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales and the children and families within it. Every penny you raise goes towards supporting children who will need specialist and often life-saving treatment.

Story

Hi all. As some of you already know my 12 year old son, Tom, was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma a few weeks ago. As you can imagine this was a massive shock to us all and has taken some time to come to terms with. Since his diagnosis Tom has spent quite a lot of time in Noah’s ark children’s hospital and the staff have been nothing short of amazing, becoming more like friends to him than caregivers and making it that little bit easier for him to push through all the treatment. So we would like to do a little something to raise some money for the hospital and also Latch children’s cancer charity who help out families of children going through chemo.

Tom lost most of his hair last week and decided to go ahead and shave it, so in support my step dad, Clive, will be shaving his head for charity. On Saturday 25th September he will be holding a charity evening at the Majors in Pengam which will include entertainment, raffles and bingo. Entry is free but any donations towards sponsorship for his head shave would be greatly appreciated on the night. Alternatively This page has been set up for those who can’t make it but would still like to help out. Any amount you can afford would be a massive help towards reaching our goal for these two amazing charities.

Thank you all

Naomi xx
