Story

How life should have been so different now. So many hopes and dreams, cruelly snatched from us on 8 March 2010.

Our beautiful angel Jamie was born sleeping, too precious for this world.

No parent should outlive their child, especially a child that has never had a chance. To never hear your child cry and laugh, see their eyes and smile, is totally heartbreaking.

Not a day goes by without Brian and I wondering what Jamie would have been like.

SANDS has offered us the opportunity to share our experience with other parents who have angel babies.  We never forget, just learn to live in the knowledge that they are at peace with our loved ones.  They also carry out significant research into the causes of stillbirth and neonatal death.  It's staggering to think that 17 babies will be stillborn or die shortly after birth every day.

I wanted to run the 10K in memory of Jamie.  My good friend Amanda volunteered to run with me too.  My husband Brian is also running and he is raising for Tommy's.

Please give what you can to stop this happening to other parents.

Thank you, luv Natali and Amanda x
