Running a half marathon is one of my biggest challenges so far and I've began my training from scratch for this. But the one thing I have is good health and I want to do something amazing in life as I believe we should all appreciate what we are graced with!

I shall be running the Birmingham Great Run in October 2014 for all those children who take their illnesses in their stride; who fight with so much bravery it's almost unbelievable. And for the families that hold those families together; keeping the spirit bright in their children through these tough times.

Birmingham Children's Hospital do such an amazing job to support so many children and their families on a daily basis. As a support worker, I am already so appreciative of how great a job the staff have done with supporting some of the families I work with. Even more for their support with little Maisy and her brave fight against leukemia. 

So now it's my turn to do something for all these people! Please donate as little or as much as you can, I couldn't find a better cause than this! It will be so greatly appreciated :)
